When using an AIM datalogger, the AIM actually connects to the ECU engine data in exactly the same way that the Log Box does. So if you have both of them connected there will be clashes as both devices try to establish communications with the ECU.
The firmware for use with AIM dataloggers puts the Log Box into a slave mode, so it does not send requests for data from the ECU, it just waits for the data to be requested by the AIM datalogger and it reads the response from the ECU and stores it in the exact same format as the regular Log Box firmware. |
