Problem solved and bike is running. I used ECU Editor and did a full erase. Hope this info helps others.

I have had similar experiences with my B-King when struggling to get (new verison of) WRT to connect. 
ECU-editor works every time... hmmmm...

I have had no trouble when using WRT directly to the ECU with bench-flash harness. |
