Re: Testing Interface |
If you are testing the Denso interfaces, please make sure you have the jumper wire between pins 3 and 7 as described in the test support center item: http://www.woolichracing.com/SupportCenter/Item/64/testing-the-usb-interface-denso-log-box-denso.aspx
If you are testing a Mitsubishi interface, please make sure you have 12v applied to pin 5 and ground on pin 8, this is required to power up the interface correctly: http://www.woolichracing.com/SupportCenter/Item/88/testing-the-usb-interface-mitsubishi.aspx |

Testing Interface |
Just setting up a new laptop and testing the interface (Log Box). When I go tools and test interface it fails the test, but I can still read/ write/ log etc. I see the instructions on the web page ask you to have it unplugged from the ECU.
Just wanted to touch base, is the test interface function meant to pass on a standard ready to run setup or is this just a testing mechanism? |
