Re: Small Logbox files? |
The most likely cause is the micro sd card. Please remove the mico SD card and format it with the FAT32 file system in windows. If this does not resolve the issue, try replacing the micro sd card with another card, for v1 Log boxes you need to use a 1GB or 2GB micro sd card, for v2 and v3 log boxes you can use 1GB, 2GB or 4GB micro sd cards. |

Having the same issue. Did you guys resolve it and how? |

Re: Small Logbox files? |
I am having the same issue. I will try the card first, but if it is an interference issue, what can be done to fix it? 09 GSX-R 1000 Logbox in the tail. |

Re: Small Logbox files? |
Hi, i have seen this on a couple of log boxes that were sent with defective micro sd cards, when we replaced the micro sd card this resolved the problem, we can either send you another micro sd card, or you can send it back and we can test it here to see what the problem is. |

Re: Small Logbox files? |
O.K. back into it for the new season. Still having the issue of very short log times. Have got a reasonable tune in it now but it takes quite a while to get there. Now I'm about to put a different engine in for this season with a few changes & I'll probably have to do heaps of runs to get a tune into this one. We ran it with the first engine on the dyno, but found the tune worked better we did on the track. Have I changed a setting to cause this? We got a new card thinking it was a crook one, but doesn't seem to make a difference. |

Re: Small Logbox files? |
really, the new micro sd card should have fixed the problem. The only other thing that would cause the issue would be if the engine data connection is dropped while logging, this can happen if there is too much interference on the SDS line. |

Re: Small Logbox files? |
Still seems the same. Maybe I've changed settings too much. Having another practice day Sunday, so will try again. |

Re: Small Logbox files? |
No problems, if you are having this problem, please contact us with your current address details and we will get a replacement out to you asap. If you just want to replace the card yourself please make sure it is replaced with a 2GB micro sd card, as the firmware does not support larger cards. |

Re: Small Logbox files? |
K8 ECU & loom running on K6. Engine data works fine & can flash Bin files without a problem. On the dyno today found it would record small files some only 10 seconds long. Out of 14 attempts, 2 were approx 280 kb long, making it very difficult to get a decent log to autotune. Has anyone else had this issue?
Hi mate yes mine is exactly the same as yours and sometimes nothing in the log files 0 bytes other times 50 to 60 kb in log files but have been informed its the micro sd card thats causing the problem, so hopefully new card will sort it out for us. Thanks again to woolich racing for letting us know. |

Re: Small Logbox files? |
We had some bad micro SD cards come through a little while ago, this can cause the issue you are having, please use the Contact Us page on the main web site to let us know you are having the issue and we will send you out a new micro sd card. |
