Re: LogBox might corrupt files and other logging issues
Hi was there a fix for this as my log box which i bought of a member on the Bking forum a couple of weeks ago is doing exactly the same. He purchased the log box new a month ago but never fitted it to the bike he had it dynoed instead, befor i bought this logbox i was using a mates and that worked perfect. On my mates logbox i would get log files 1 to 2 mb in size after a 30 to 40 mile ride but on the new logbox i am getting 50 to 60 kb of data sometimes i get 5 to 6 files with 0 data in them. I have removed all filters formatted the sd card and flashed the firmaware bin again but still the same problem. I have fast baud rate ticked and flashed to ecu so not sure if the log box is faulty any help much appreciated. My bike is a Bking 2010 with hayabusa gen 2 bin file and wideband sensor it reads ecu and writes to the ecu ok just the logging is the problem. Also i would get a new log file every time i restarted my bike with mates box which did work perfect. This new log log box will show 5 to 6 log files without restarting the bike on one ride sometimes with small data sometimes with nothing in log files. :?

Re: LogBox might corrupt files and other logging issues
Hi Could you provide some addition information. What bike model and year are you using the Log Box on? Are you running standard or fast baud rate? Can you check the continuity of the SDS harness through to the ECU plug, check for loose wires or bad connections as this may cause the problems you are experiencing Is there any particular circumstances where you are able to reproduce the problems, i.e. does it have the problems under certain circumstances more than others?

LogBox might corrupt files and other logging issues
Encounter several issues with LogBox during live recording: - On some occasion, logging might not start - On some occasion, logging might stop during run session - On some occasion, the file being recorded or previously recorded files (randomly) might get truncated to 0 bytes. Thereafter no more logging can occur. It is needed to delete those file for recording to resume. Notes: - I have always carefully unmounted drive connected to PC before starting bike - I have always switch off ignition waited couple seconds before turning off key
