*Update*
Problem solved, got an email form Translogic saying to try and swap the clutchswitch cable and that fixed it.

Yeah the shifter is outside the ecu. Thanks for the info, I can now exclude the Logbox from trouble shooting.

Re: 3rd party quickshifter (TL) |
Hi, thanks for the feedback, great to hear its working well for you.
I am not familiar with the quickshifter, i am assuming it somehow interferes with the signal for the ignition coils outside the ECU? If this is the case then i would be looking at the unit itself, as it cannot be related to the ECU or the Log Box as these only have an impact on the internal code within the ECU. |

3rd party quickshifter (TL) |
Hi,
Just came back from the fist track day with the WR logbox and I have to say it's pretty awesome. We had rain the whole day so the throttle response had to be ultra smooth and it was. We're very happy with the results. There was one mayor issue though and I'm really not sure if it's related to the WR software/logbox or not but we could not get our new quickshifter to work at all. It's a top of the line Translogic QS4-GP12 quickshifter which connects to the ignition and should be separate from the ECU. The lights indicated it got a signal from the ignition but it would not shift.
Any idea if this can be related to the logbox/software?
(bike is a gsx-r 1000 k8)
Cheers! |
