Re: Will all the settings be saved in the stock ECU? |
The stock bin file that comes with either WRT or ecueditor is the exact stock bin file as taken from a stock ecu, so you can always get back to stock by opening a new bin file and flashing it to the ECU. |

Re: Will all the settings be saved in the stock ECU? |
Hi Justin,
Before I flash the bike ecu, is there a way to set/save the standard setting of the bking? Or this is actualy the same as the bking bin file provided? |

Will all the settings be saved in the stock ECU? |
Question from Customer
Hello, some more info needed. After having reflashed & tuned a bike with the log box and software, will all the settings be saved in the stock ECU even if the log box is disconnected ?
Answer
Yes, you can remove the Log Box and all the settings will be saved in the ECU. You can think of a bin file as both the software, maps and settings that the processor in the ECU uses to control your bike. So when you flash a bin file to the ECU it replaces everything in the ecu and stores it there to be executed by the processor. |
