| Ok I have tried this today,
Had a 06 GSR600 with a stalling issue when you pulled the clutch in while moving after load then decel.
In engine data mode the 02 would intermittently freeze or not read at all but not throw a code .
So in short the 02 sensor needs replacing if he wants to continue to use it .
Flashed in a 09/10 binfile with modified Stp map plus pair & 02 turned off
also some decel & light load changes to the IAP fuel map.
Flashed in fine & seems to have eliminated the stalling issue & we will see if its still running better over the next couple of days.

I now have access to an 06 GSR600 & i have the 09/10 Bin file definitions
If I try this whats the chance of bricking the ecu ? |

| the 06-08 bin has less options right??
in the 09-10 model you can adjuct the stp,disable the pair valve and adjust the fan....
can all this work by using the 09-10 model on a 06-08?? |

Just wondering if you have had any more word on this ?
If it works it would save some development time on the older ecu binfile definitions. |

| Just had a customer try flashing a 2009/2010 GSR 600 bin file to a 2006-2008 GSR 600 ECU. The bike fired up and ran fine. He plans to do more tests shortly.
Just thought I would share the results in case anyone was interested in trying this. |
