Interesting info, it does not help with "fresh" ECU's where we dont have the bin file and need to read it out, but it could be useful once an initial flash has been completed. If you have any additional info be good if you could send it to info@woolichracing.com so we can investigate further. |

| Ι saw someone mention that if you modify the kernel to not erase the ECU uppon connect,then if you flash it with the modified kernel once you can then read it through the harness.For the SH705x series at least.
Not a big deal,just mentioning it. |

| Hi, you can not read out the bin file from the earlier model Denso ECU's from the Main ECU plugs, you can only write to them. This is not a restriction of our software or hardware, it is how the processors inside the ECU work.
To tune these ECU's, create a new stock bin file for your bike, make changes to the bin file, save the bin file to your computer, and write to the ECU. The next time you want to make changes, open the save bin file and move forward with the next lot of changes. |

| I am soooo confused ..
On the 06 GSX-R1000 I try to read the ECU and it states there is a ECU restriction ..
So you can NOT read the ECU info?? If I write to it I have no way to verify it was written correctly ?
I have used software on my 08 Busa and B-King with no issues
